Request reason:

I have simply and fairly tried to restore one page of a notable person in tech, for research purposes, and for anyone else who is looking for the same information as a starting point on researching. Nothing has been editorialized (by me), he had the page for years prior without incident, all of his peers have their own page, and I do not have multiple accounts. Just trying to be fair and restore one page of a tech CEO for anyone else to easily reference, and because everyone on his notability level has their own - and again, it was up for years.

Decline reason:

Per Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Starshine60/Archive there seems to be grounds for suspecting that this is not your first account. Before we can consider any unblock you need to come clean about any previous accounts and whether you have any ulterior motive for wanting to restore this article. If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

I have truly no connection to the "sockpuppet" who has been blocked, and if I have another account, I literally do not even know of it! However, I'm not even looking to edit Wikipedia, just merely to use it as a reference. The reason I want the page in question to be reposted is to be part of that reference - as a fair resource. I am writing a story, and Rich Riley's page was very helpful. I don't even need to be unblocked, in fact. Can someone just repost the page to before it was edited by that "sockpuppet" - so I and others can use it as a reference, like it had been for years without incident? Again, I don't even need an account and won't re-create one; would just appreciate the page being reposted to its status (not as part of a mention on Shazam's page) before "Starshine" changed it. I have absolutely zero "ulterior motive" or connection to the subject, but his page is one of the most recent things I've used Wikipedia for, as part of research, and I want it to remain fair, just as I would if the page of another subject I was doing research on were suddenly and unfairly taken down.

Request reason:

In that case, yes, I am requesting unblock, not so I can edit pages myself but so I can talk it through with those who did; I am currently unable to even use a talk page. Thanks.

Decline reason:

So you don't want to edit articles, you just want to have a page that the community decided we shouldn't have restored to a version that was particularly inappropriate. That's not going to happen. There also seem to be issues of block evasion: [1]. That edit also gives a nice amount of behavioural evidence connecting you to Starshine60. I don't believe in quite as much coincidence. Verbatim from the previous request: "I'm not even looking to edit Wikipedia", " I don't even need to be unblocked,". SQLQuery me! 23:07, 21 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
