Here is my Talk page

[edit]

I haven't yet seen how to properly sign on Talk pages. for now I am trying to restrict to those until I learn more about wiki. If someone can tell me how to properly sign, please do so and save me some time in learning. Thanks. Nisanu 22:17, 13 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Also please feel free to let criticism and the constructive comments flow. At this point I openly admit to not knowing what I am doing! ;) Nisanu 22:17, 13 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome

[edit]

Hello, Nisanu, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and vote pages using three tildes, like this: ~~~. Four tildes (~~~~) produces your name and the current date. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! --Pilot|guy 22:12, 13 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Your comment at the new contributors' help page

[edit]

Please see my response to your comment at the new contributors' help page. I looked through your contributions, and you seem to be doing fine so far. I moved the external link that you added to the Ghost ship article. In general, external links (links to pages outside Wikipedia) should be placed at the end of an article in an External links section. That's part of Wikipedia's Manual of Style. It's relly no big deal, though, because other editors can always fix any formatting or style irregularities. Don't worry too much about the Manual of Style; just use your best judgment. You'll catch on as you gain more experience in editing Wikipedia. Once again, welcome to Wikipedia! --TantalumTelluride 01:25, 14 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
