Contested deletion

[edit]

A tag has been placed on User:Nit309 requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section U5 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to consist of writings, information, discussions, and/or activities not closely related to Wikipedia's goals. Please note that Wikipedia is not a free Web hosting service. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such pages may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Wikipedia is not a free advertising platform

[edit]

It is a project to build a neutral, factual encyclopedia. It is not for advertising or promotion of any kind. Your page included:

"We strive for excellence in all facets of managing your property and always act in the best interests of our clients. Let us manage your property today!" and

"We proactively evaluate options available to our clients in order to identify solutions that maximize value and minimize costs. Consultations are free! Please do not hesitate to visit one of our offices or call us over the phone. We look forward to hearing from you soon!"

That is the company, writing in the first person, boosting itself and touting for business. It is an advertisement, not an encyclopedia article. Anything remotely like that, anywhere in Wikipedia, is deleted at sight.

Since you consider that that is "not promotional" I can only assume that you are employed by the company. In that case you should read the guideline Wikipedia:Conflict of interest and the Wikipedia:Plain and simple conflict of interest guide, noting in particular that you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's Terms of Use ("Paid contributions without disclosure" under section 4), and in some jurisdictions by laws against covert advertising, to disclose your interest in any edits for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation.
