Reigns

Should we consider moving Regins: Her Majesty to its own page? Would we be able to find enough information (i.e is the present sourcing state good)? Lordtobi () 21:36, 3 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Lordtobi: I have made a draft at Draft:Reigns Her Majesty, but the "Gameplay" and "Development" sections were virtually the same, so I added the info to Reigns. – NixinovaT|C⟩ 21:42, 3 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Stephen Hawking

The general rule is deaths are not included in current events. "Exceptions to this rule are made for prominent persons who died in office (such as Pope John Paul II and Omar Bongo) or other instances where the death in itself has a major impact."

The main page editors included this in the news on the main page and at top of CE page. RaqiwasSushi (talk) 18:23, 14 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@RagiwasSushi: "where the death in itself has a major impact". In this case, it doesn't; he's lived 50 years longer than he should've, and his death itself doesn't mean anything except he won't be able to contribute to society any more (😢). That statement would be for heads of state or people who would leave a major impact upon their death. – Nixinova T | E ⟩ 18:44, 14 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft article, Draft:Team Racing League

Hello, Nixinova. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Team Racing League".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

An apology

This edit summary was meant to be read in a mildly ribbing way with a smile and a wink. In the cold light of day, on rereading I was just being a dick. Wasn't my intent, I was tired. Sorry. -- BobTheIP editing as 88.111.220.120 (talk) 15:34, 10 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Question

What form does your ardent opposition to DT, aka the PGIC, take? Sca (talk) 00:31, 26 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Sca: What do you mean?  Nixinova T  C   02:54, 26 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
What I meant was, in what way are you opposing DT? But never mind....
Re getting "annoyed when people use hyphens when they should be using dashes," I concur. But my No. 1 pet peeve is when people use unnecessary apostrophes in plural name forms, e.g. "the Jacobson's," "the Bloomfield's," etc. Sca (talk) 15:46, 27 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Sca: I don't like anything about him, and yes the improper use of apostrophe's infuriates me as well.  Nixinova T  C   04:11, 3 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding minor edits

Information icon Thank you for your contributions. Please mark your edits as "minor" only if they are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Minor edits consist of things such as typographical corrections, formatting changes or rearrangement of text without modification of content. Additionally, the reversion of clear-cut vandalism and test edits may be labeled "minor". Thank you. DynaGirl (talk) 13:09, 16 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

My edits

What about my edits regarding Jaspal Atwal for Portal:Current events? What do you think about them? Are you going to do some changes to them, or will you assume it’s all bigotry against Atwal? AtwalFan101 (talk) 06:14, 3 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding main page change

Hey there, I just wanted to let you know that I am a big fan of your proposal to change the Main Page. It has generated a number of supporters on the talk page, and I was wondering if you are willing to take it up to Rfc to generate consensus for a change? I would definitely be willing to help you out there if that were the case. --haha169 (talk) 13:09, 5 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Haha169: I'm not too sure how to do that.  Nixinova  T  C  22:43, 5 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
That's fine, I did some research and a RfC appears to be a mechanism to attract more users into the discussion. I've made an RfC on the talk page of the Main Page, and pinged you. We'll see how the discussion moves from there. --haha169 (talk) 02:58, 6 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

SPI

Hi. I think someone should open an SPI case page for lovelygirl. If you have evidence for socking, would you please do it? Thanks. —usernamekiran(talk) 10:34, 8 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • Nixinova, I appreciate your identifying possible LG7 socks, but it would be better if you went about it differently. There's no point in posting the possible socks on her Talk page (you also sound like an impresario when you do it). Nor is it appropriate to do request a quick check. The next time you spot one, create an SPI. As Usernamekiran says, it would probably be good to have a case if LG7 is going to continue socking. As for the one you identified earlier, AtwalForever (talk · contribs · count), I've blocked them, so that's done. You can also feel free to contact either Ponyo (knows the most) or me (maybe second most) on our Talk pages. Thanks.--Bbb23 (talk) 11:46, 8 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. RonBot (talk) 17:15, 15 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Internet meme, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Lamp (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver).
