A tag has been placed on Road Stand America requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Edit request for Sophie Hunter page[edit]

There is a one-sentence paragraph in Hunter's lead that could be easily merged with the first. There is no reason for it to be separate from the main one. Please be so kind to merge them please. Thank you! 180.191.69.3 (talk) 01:49, 21 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Page deletion[edit]

I thought I'd explain why the page was deleted. It's ultimately because while you do exist as a YouTube channel, you just aren't notable enough at this point in time to pass notability guidelines per WP:GNG. Don't take this badly- there are a lot of very, very popular LP'ers that fail notability guidelines. Heck, even Cry and SkyDoesMinecraft don't pass notability guidelines at this point in time and they're both incredibly popular and well known. Wikipedia is not a place to promote your YouTube channel and until your channel passes notability guidelines it can't be on Wikipedia. I know that this sounds harsh and it's not meant to be- it's just that right now it's just too soon for your channel to have an entry on Wikipedia.

Now what you may want to do is to try going to Wikia and making your own encyclopedia there. Their guidelines are a lot more lax and you'd have a lot more freedom in what you can write. It's not the same as Wikipedia, but it is a start. There's also a Let's Play Wikia, which does allow people to mention their LP channels on their list page, so that's also a good place to check out as well.
