Valse Septembre - declined speedy

I have declined the speedy since the article is obviously not an A1. Please see WP:CSD. If you consider that the page is insufficiently notable then try a Prod or AfD. TerriersFan (talk) 17:48, 23 March 2008 (UTC)

Whoops, sorry about that. It's not too notable, but I am willing to let it grow a bit (if it does). nneonneo (talk) 17:51, 23 March 2008 (UTC)

Vandalism

Hi - are you willing to place a Warning on User:Hasanhasanhasan's talk page for his recent vandalism? He's heading for a block in my opinion, but it would be better if he got the message that its not just one person disapproving of his actions. Ingolfson (talk) 02:03, 24 March 2008 (UTC)

Done and done. nneonneo (talk) 18:49, 24 March 2008 (UTC)

Notice

Your attacks on Wikipedia:Suspected_sock_puppets are considered vandalism. The fact that, for the two years ending last Sunday, the account Nneonneo was almost entirely inactive, its only contributions being changes in spelling, pruning of video-game weapon descriptions, and racial invective, makes it suspect as a part-time puppet account, or perhaps an artificially-aged shell-identity. In the past week, it has made nearly as many edits as it had since its inception some years ago. What's more, these have caused considerable disruption in the community. I have seen this pattern of behaviour before in destructive users who are trying either to deflect guilt and reprisal from yourself onto other Wikipedians, or to make a name for a vandalism-only account by artlessly effecting a major change, such as an article deletion or a user block.

Be warned that your actions have not gone unnoticed. DbelangeB (talk) 02:25, 26 March 2008 (UTC)

You would not be the first sockpuppet/puppetmaster to launch a counteroffensive, though you probably think it's disingenuous to claim [1] to be continuing a respectful discussion at WP:SSP, when instead you aim to tarnish the reputation of the accusing user. You will see that I am not the only user who agrees that Copalindrome and Coprocessor tuning should be deleted (Copalindrome was speedily deleted; AfD for coprocessor tuning). Finally, may I point out that the purported "racial invective" was in fact reversion of vandalism, as any neutral observer would agree; I have no hand in the article itself, merely a desire to prevent other parties from censoring (WP:NOT) such content on Wikipedia. nneonneo (talk) 02:44, 26 March 2008 (UTC)
As for the allegation that my account has been inactive: while the account has been inactive, it is due primarily to a failure on my part to log in (as well as increased activity on this site as of late, as a simple result of visiting it more often and performing RC patrol). I have edited as an anonymous IP in the past, but as I am now logged in ("permanently" as far as the cookies will allow!), I will likely not make edits from anonymous IPs again unless I forget to log in. I do not operate any other registered accounts; only IP addresses, which may provided on request for a good reason. nneonneo (talk) 03:12, 26 March 2008 (UTC)
When you were trying, unsuccessfully, to link me to various disposable accounts, your reasoning was twisted but somehow endearing. When you were trying, unsuccessfully, to prove the obvious, you were already a laughingstock. Now you are linking me to an article on whose talk page I once commented. Your behaviour indicates that you are either ill-intentioned or mentally ill, and, in either case, is not warranted.
The high-handed rhetoric you have laid out in place of self-defence is, as you so aptly pointed out, typical of sock-puppeteers and, more generally, is the main dust-screen kicked up by a running dog. I have stopped wasting time defending myself against your misguided, clannish inquisition--a Star Chamber of one--and begun scrutinising ``your`` actions and ``your`` intentions. Why does that make you so nervous? DbelangeB (talk) 05:51, 26 March 2008 (UTC)
I have nothing to hide. Anyone may check my contributions and see that I have good intentions for this project. You, on the other hand, are a completely different matter. As I have already discussed, holding these accounts in the case your current one is banned is NOT allowed by policy. Calling me "mentally ill" or a vandal achieves nothing on your part. I suggest you get to preparing a good defense of your contributions, rather than spewing meaningless rhetoric at me. nneonneo (talk) 06:16, 26 March 2008 (UTC)
While we're on the subject of throwing around various Wikipedia guidelines, why not take a look at WP:CIVIL and WP:NPR? I'm sure they will make this discussion easier. nneonneo (talk) 06:20, 26 March 2008 (UTC)
No, your illness is central to the discussion it has caused. If I were to see you in the street, I might cross to the other side. My heart would go out to your parents. That would be that. That the poor dears have given you a keyboard does not make you any less their responsibility, or any more mine. Control yourself, and I can see Wikipedia benefiting from your personality.
