American Ninja Warrior / SASUKE20 Results[edit]

Is there any particular reason why you continue to delete the ANW2 competitors' results from the Sasuke (TV series) article?

I'm not sure how this "User Talk" works so I hope you read this. To answer your question, yes, there is a reason. I am Brian Orosco, one the the American Ninja Warriors. I signed a confidentiality agreement with G4 saying that I would not speak about or post the results of the competition before it airs in the US on May 18th. They also asked that if I saw anything like this pop up that I report it to them or take it down myself. In this particular circumstance, I had the power to take it down, so I did. Personally, I'd love to blather all about the experience, but I have to keep my mouth shut for now.

Pardon me for being blunt, but there's something you need to know and realize:
YOU didn't write this article, nor the facts about the ANW2 20th competition standings. Those of us who have seen the program, called SASUKE, as aired in Japan, which this article is about, are free to edit the Wikipedia article. Got it? This article about SASUKE.
This is NOT a Ninja Warrior article. This is encyclopedic content. There is NO spoiler-free policy on Wikipedia, and you have no grounds to remove established facts.
Now, if you had originally written it, that'd be a different story since you're under an NDA, but that's not the case. You, G4, and anyone else equally has NO grounds to remove these facts, just because they haven't aired in America yet.
Having said that, please don't take this as a personal attack, but one of pointing out the problem. This is an article about a Japanese TV Show, this show has aired, and the facts, as listed in the article, have already taken place.
If G4 has a problem with this, with all due respect, too bad. This is NOT their website, this site is NOT under their rules, and we are not talking about their Intellectual Property, or copyright, or whatever legal class "Ninja Warrior" falls under. G4 has ZERO legal ground.
And now I step off my soapbox.

Ninja Warrior 20 Results[edit]

Even though I saw this over a month ago, congratulations are very much due for your performance as aired last night. I couldn't even begin to fathom the feeling that freaking rope has to cause. It seems like such a force of whiplash, undoubtedly made worse by the fact that you have to support all your weight on it.

The one good thing about the airing was that I got a lot more context. I don't speak Japanese, so I had wondered what caused Brett to shake his foot as he did after planting the Jumping Spider.

But enough about him, this is your page :).

Congratulations for emerging from the ANC2 stateside, and I hope your trip to Japan was generally enjoyable. It sure looked like it was, I want to go to Muscle Park so badly :(. Also, the additional footage of you three watching the Muscle Musical rehearsal was better than what TBS aired before a Muscle Musical member ran the course. Nothing short of amazing work. Tell you one other interesting thing, I would have never pitched Nagano as a smoker. Very out of the blue to see him with a cigarette in his hand at the table. Not to even begin mention all of the other folks you met. Absolutely amazing footage G4 aired before and after the competition itself.

If you have any other interesting/amusing/etc. non-aired stories, I'm sure many of us here would love to hear them. Though, for general reasons, if you do share, I suggest that you peruse Talk:Sasuke (TV series) :).

Lastly, I greatly apologize for my overly-rude tone above. I didn't want to come off as bossy, but I really didn't like G4's decision in that matter. I hope I wasn't too rude, nor alienated you in any way. Leaving it around is your call, I don't intend to hide it, but I do sincerely apologize.

I guess this can all be topped off with the most important question:

It appears that G4 doesn't let winners re-compete in the ANC (rightfully so), think they'll send you 3 back in addition to two new winners before next competition? :] It's a short 6 months until the tail end of fall. :] VxJasonxV (talk) 22:37, 19 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

SASUKE21[edit]

Hope you had fun in your second go around. I look forward to seeing how you and the rest of the ANC folks did in ... 3 hours! (Woo) VxJasonxV (talk) 06:44, 17 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

YouTube Live Appearance?[edit]

I've never had the chance to sit and watch the whole show, but I started going through clips of segments I hadn't seen, and I was curious.

Were you on the far left in the lineup of the 4 Parkour Individuals at YouTube Live? (I'm looking at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U8VDxlbgtUc&fmt=18 primarily.) —Preceding unsigned comment added by VxJasonxV (talkcontribs) 09:36, 6 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
