Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, Noaya97, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Adam and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Kuru, do you mind explaining, in a sentence or two, what the problem was with that Bikini Kill edit? Thanks, Dr Aaij (talk) 05:04, 8 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Sure. "research.omicsgroup.org" is a mirror of our content. They provide clear attribution at the bottom of the page: "This page is based on the copyrighted Wikipedia article Bikini Kill." The policy which explicitly addresses sourcing ourselves is at WP:CIRCULAR. Kuru (talk) 12:20, 8 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I think you should look around as much as possible to as many articles as you can in order to come up with a different title--I'm afraid someone will tag it for deletion with a link to WP:NOTESSAY when it goes live. Dr Aaij (talk) 02:46, 20 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Noaya, I cannot see that you responded, in writing or in editing, to the extensive comments left on the talk page by me and by one of your classmates. That's a shame--it means you can't get full credit for the "Response" section. I also don't see a proposed DYK hook anywhere, for any of your articles: another missed opportunity. I wish you had taken the questions/comments about that Oregon law seriously: that article was such a good opportunity to fulfill all those obligations. Dr Aaij (talk) 14:28, 1 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

A page you started (Big moon peyotism) has been reviewed!

[edit]

Thanks for creating Big moon peyotism, Noaya97!

Wikipedia editor Boleyn just reviewed your page, and wrote this note for you:

The article Jim Leonard Jr. has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Apparently non-notable writer of some TV episodes here and there. IMDB as primary source does not help show notability either.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. ‡ Єl Cid of ᐺalencia ᐐT₳LKᐬ 16:28, 18 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
