Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia

The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome!

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Voodoo tiki tequila, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://wikibin.org/articles/voodoo-tiki.html.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

Why Voodoo Tiki was deleted - again

[edit]

Hi Nobsonwiki,

Obviously you made only handful of edits in 2011, and then disappeared, so this addressed to people who are wondering why the article was originally created in 2007 - see Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Voodoo Tiki was deleted in 2020.

Basically, there is no indication that this product - with its eye-catching name - has picked up any media attention. 2007 is a long time ago; a "Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Voodoo Tiki (second nomination)" would appear to be quite superfluous.

Best wishes, and I hope that 2021 is better for you (and everyone else on the planet) than 2020 has been. Pete AU aka --Shirt58 (talk) 09:33, 14 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

More specifically, I nominated this for speedy deletion per WP:CSD#A7 (company with no claim to importance), WP:CSD#G4 (re-creation of previously deleted material – I think this is about the 5th time it has been deleted), and WP:CSD#G11 (advertising/promotion – the "article" was just spin based on the company's own marketing, and lacked any independent sourcing of any kind, other than sources (and poor ones) about tequila in general, none of which addressed this product or company in particular.  — SMcCandlish ¢ 😼  10:49, 14 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
