A tag has been placed on Catgirl Gorean requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. ╟─TreasuryTagcontribs─╢ 10:52, 17 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

May 2009[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from Catgirl Gorean, a page you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, you can place a {{hangon}} tag on the page, under the existing speedy deletion tag (please do not remove the speedy deletion tag), and make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. ╟─TreasuryTagcontribs─╢ 11:09, 17 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop removing speedy deletion notices from pages that you have created yourself, as you did with Catgirl Gorean. If you continue, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. ╟─TreasuryTagcontribs─╢ 11:46, 17 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Jungles of Gor, and it appears to be a substantial copy of http://www.geocities.com/delphius2002/id78.htm. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 04:38, 18 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Suggestions[edit]

Hi. Please look over the links in the welcome message above about how to create and format articles. Please read Wikipedia:Notability for criteria about what is considered a valid topic for an article.

I notice that you created an article "Region of Shaba" that says it is related to "the novels of John Normans, The World of Gor". I see that Wikipedia has no articles about John Normans nor The World of Gor. I don't know enough about the topic to say if it is or is not notable, but I do know that a general overview of a topic is often the best way to start-- so in this case, an article either about the author or the novel may be of more use as an introduction to the topic than details about a fictional land in the novel that gives no context.

Your writing is often awkward. I wonder if you mostly speak a language other than English. Do you have a friend who writes better English? You might wish to have them look over what you write. Also, note that there are Wikipedias in many other languages you could edit.

Hope this helps. -- Infrogmation (talk) 17:57, 29 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to the page Talk:Region of Shaba. Such edits constitute vandalism and are reverted. Please do not continue to make unconstructive edits to pages; use the sandbox for testing. Thank you. blurredpeace 09:15, 31 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
