Bill O'Reilly[edit]

Regarding this comment: I don't doubt that the the Free Press did criticize O'Reilly. I do wonder if that criticism has such weight that it warrants its own section -- O'Reilly has plenty of critics, and we need to have some level of measure for inclusion. Please understand that I'm not making a determination regarding it's weight (maybe it does deserve its own section, or paragraph), but without some reliable sources we can't really determine its weight. Since it was entirely unsourced, and because we need secondary sources (the Free Press criticism itself is a primary source) to determine weight, I went ahead and removed it. Why not work on suggested text in your sandbox (I'll help if you like) and get it neutrally presented and with proper citations, and then we'll see about moving it into the main article? I support and agree with your edit to the Criticism of BOR page; I also think it can be condensed. I have not seen you previously contribute to this article, so offer this advice on the 2 editors who have weighed in: user:Arzel is a staunch O'Reilly fan and any comment with even a whiff of negativity will automatically be reverted with a claim of BLP. User:Croctotheface seems to regard his opinion as law and will cast aspersions of "bad faith" if you continue debate. I have had extensive experience with this editor and do not trust him---not for his opinions, but for his arrogance.Jimintheatl (talk) 02:10, 30 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Thought I'd let you know there's a new round of objections from Arzel at the Criticism of Bill O'Reilly page. Same as it ever was....Jimintheatl (talk) 18:37, 7 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the advice. I'll look into further tmw. Have to finish watching the US Open final tonight...Jimintheatl (talk) 02:46, 8 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Thought I'd give you a heads up on the goings-on at the Criticism of page. I thought we'd settled the RS issue raised by Arzel; now Tom is reviving them.Jimintheatl (talk) 13:42, 15 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Um, thanks, and HolyCow.....that's quite the impressive dissertation. I hope it takes, but I'm not hopeful...Jimintheatl (talk) 01:58, 16 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Merger of WikiProject Free Software and WikiProject Software[edit]

Greetings, I have made a proposal for the merger of WikiProject Free Software and WikiProject Software here. I invite you for your valuable comments in the discussion. You are receiving this note as you are a member of WikiProject Free Software. -- Tyw7, Leading Innovations ‍ ‍‍ (TalkContributions) 20:02, 13 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

WikiProject Free Software is now a subdivision of WikiProject Software. -- Tyw7, Leading Innovations ‍ ‍‍ (TalkContributions) 11:02, 17 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

I think if you simply removed the colon between WikiProject and Software, your WikiProject Software banner is good to go. By the way, can you please provide me with the background that you used (without any texts or images). -- Tyw7, Leading Innovations ‍ ‍‍ (TalkContributions) 10:55, 19 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

SVG[edit]

Hi there, I saw a request at the Graphic Lab to convert the above to an SVG. I can't find the font that you used though, the closest thing I've found is Blue Highway. I'd like to make this exact as possible and your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! §hep¡Talk to me! 23:46, 20 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
