Proposed deletion of Sue the Messenger[edit]

The article Sue the Messenger has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable book, with no sign of Web-based sources that would meet WP:GNG.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. @Largoplazo: Yes, I agree, I should have added sources. My fault. I have added quite a few sources. Please let me know if it is ok now. Thanks.

The Anisha Seth source is the one I had found during my search—I miswrote: though it doesn't suffice, I had found one. However, the other three don't demonstrate notability. The book's own official website doesn't, nor does a store selling the book, nor does an event listing website where people can post their own events. Largoplazo (talk) 20:10, 9 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@Largoplazo: I found a report about the launch event http://morungexpress.com/do-away-with-defamation-law-say-legal-and-media-luminaries-2/ but it names the author wrongly. But it is correct about the event date.

That isn't substantial discussion of the book. The only thing it says about the book is that it was the subject of a launch event at which a person was quoted about the topic that the story is about! Largoplazo (talk) 23:50, 9 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@Largoplazo: There is another credible news website I found, The Wire: Please see the report here --> http://thewire.in/2016/05/05/watch-legal-harassment-and-the-corporate-muzzling-of-independent-journalism-in-india-34011/ It works? Do let me know. Thanks.

That might help, at least enough to merit a discussion (see WP:AFD) about whether it merits inclusion rather than just deciding it doesn't. It could just be that it's [[WP:TOOSOON] for this book now but that next week it will be easy to demonstrate notability. Largoplazo (talk) 23:50, 9 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
