Thank you for your efforts to improve Wikipedia.

Just FYI, I noticed that you are changing words that use British English spelling (e.g. defence, colour, litre) to the American English spelling (defense, color, liter). In many articles this kind of change will go unchallenged, but in articles related to a Commonwealth country (e.g. National Marine Aquarium, Plymouth to England, Deep Blue Sea (hat) to Australia, and Swordfish Long Range Tracking Radar to India) your changes are likely to get reverted. The people doing the reversion back to British English may be grouchy with you too, because they take spelling as seriously as you do.

The relevant Wikipedia policy is in the Wikipedia Manual of Style: MOS:ENGVAR, and in particular MOS:TIES.
