You are correct, the view does face north. Sometimes I get mixed up ... I thought I took that one from near the Rivoli, but then I looked again and realized you can see it in the background (I also generally prefer to take all pictures looking along a state highway in that road's direction of travel, either east or (this case) north). As for the JavaScript, I would bet there's an error on the server end ... that sometimes happens to me too. What browser are you using? Safari has worked best for me. Daniel Case (talk) 17:12, 1 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I'm just going by what's in the NRHP application (Ms. LaFrank does note that the bimah placement is unusual, as is the sukka). I haven't seen the inside of the building, though I'd love to be able to confirm whether what was true in 2000 when the application was written still is).

If you like historic synagogue articles, you might want to work with Historicist, who's done a lot of those and seems to have access to a pretty large library on the subject). Daniel Case (talk) 18:53, 1 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

With Firefox I just get a narrow slit of a window in the JavaScript; with Safari I get the full page. Try IE ... sometimes it gives you a bigger window. Daniel Case (talk) 18:55, 1 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

IF you are absolutely stymied I could make a .PDF of the app and email it to you. Daniel Case (talk) 04:36, 2 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
