A tag has been placed on Morpeth RFC, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Novos1899 - Hi I have been updating through the leagues results for all the English rugby union leagues and have spotted the work you have done in Durham/Northumberland. I wish we had more editors like you who could update all the old results. I tried contacting the Northern RFU to get info on past winners but they were useless. Great work! Jgjsmith006 (talk) 10:43, 25 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Jgjsmith006: Thanks very much! It took a long time reading through my old Rothman books. I emailed RFU North myself to tell them I’d be happy giving them all of the original tables (typed up by myself) but received no response. If you need a list of winners for other Northern leagues let me know.

@Jgjsmith006: If you check out the Rolling Maul (Courage League thread) or DN Rugby forum (League history thread on Other Senior Rugby) I have put the tables in of all Northern Zone leagues for 1987-88. I intend to do them all and now should go on RFU North.

Was just browsing Rolling Maul and saw your message. Am aiming to get all of the results done over the next month and then will go other some of the historic results. I had some serious confusion with Northern leagues which you have cleared up (North 1 East and North 1 West), which used to be combined as North Division 2 (or their equivalent tier). Absolutely brilliant. Would be great to get everything down from 1987-88 for all regional leagues but this may take some time. Jgjsmith006 (talk) 23:24, 1 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Jgjsmith006: Yes, the old Northern divisional set up was a nightmare. Particularly in the North West. If you drop me a message on rolling maul, I would happily send you photographs of every season for all of the regions? But yes, it would take quite a bit of time. Completing Durham and Northumberland took an awful long time. Let alone the rest of the leagues. It’s such a shame the RFU haven’t put them all in as it may nudge others from around the country to update their own regions. Novos1899 (talk) 10:44, 8 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I would be able to update some of the results (dependent on real work). Do you have an email set up on Wiki? If so I could email you my details and you could send over the results. I only really need from 1987-88 to 1995-96 as I think the RFU provide results from 1997 onward. Jgjsmith006 (talk) 09:46, 12 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Jgjsmith006: I don’t have an email set up on wiki unfortunately. You could Private message Me on Rolling Maul (Novocastrian is my username) or DN Rugby (TheGuv).

OK - I will see how I can do this and get in touch Jgjsmith006 (talk) 17:47, 21 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I've sent you a message on Rolling Maul. Let me know when you have any info ready and I will add. Jgjsmith006 (talk) 10:09, 30 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
