Hey, so for my starter article, everything I found has to do with vocabulary and grammar, and I am really trying to find more information on the culture and clothing worn by the people who speak Tektitek. Short of traveling to Guatemala, and seeing for myself, there's really a limited number of ways that I can find out so I have been researching a lot. I am also looking for more ways to add Mexican people and their influence on the language into the article. Two of the sources I put down are considerably dated, so I am looking for other sources actively. You will find this a lot, that if you can find other sources, they are somewhat dated. Finally, I've run into a roadblock accessing some of these sources, and so worst case scenario, I would have to purchase rights to view them. This is just a rough draft starter article, so I hope to make more improvements as time goes on.

For now, my next steps are finding more youtube videos and songs to tie to the language. Please let me know if there is anything you think I am missing, or anything that I can change. Nti4 (talk) 21:53, 10 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Noah, my name is Maggie and I just reviewed your article, and so far everything looks just grand! I wrote in italicized hyphens so you wouldn't miss my comments. As a first thought I think your article could benefit from a map being included pointing readers to the origins of the language/where speakers reside now. I already saw in your comment that you're working on getting more cultural information which I believe will really round out this article. Last comment, your lead section should be buffed up a little bit. It reads nice now, but I think it needs a little more information to connect it to the rest of the article. You have done great work so far though! Good luck with finishing! --Margaret.mccollum (talk) 02:48, 7 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
