Changing page title[edit]

I saw your question about changing page tiles at the VisualEditor/Feedback page.

Once an account has at least ten edits and is at least four days old, you automatically gain Autoconfirmed status. You are now autoconfirmed, and you should see a new Move link at the top of pages. That allows your to move a page to a new title. Note that pages have a Namespace in addition to the title. For example User:NuFcULTRA/sandbox is in the User namespace, at the title NuFcULTRA/sandbox. If you write an article in yout sandbox and you want to move it out as a live encyclopedia page, you click Move, you change User to (Article), you change NuFcULTRA/sandbox to the desired title, and you click Move Page.

It appears that you want to write an article about a football game (the Big Game) at Neville's Cross? I did a bit of Google searching, and I couldn't find any sources mentioning it. In order for a topic to qualify for an article, you need to be able to cite Reliable Sources for the information. In other words it needs evidence of Notability - you need multiple independent reliable sources which have written significant coverage of the subject. I could be mistaken, but it looks like the "Big Game" is a recent and purely local term. It doesn't seem to have received any significant coverage in reliable sources. If such sources do exist, then yes you can write an article on it. But if you don't have adequate sources for an article then it would be rejected/deleted. If you have any questions, the Teahouse is a good place to ask. I hope this helps. Alsee (talk) 20:53, 2 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
