April 2013 was a mistake, I passed all the classes with ease in the end. I just had recent thyroid surgery so I can't go back to school until summer at earliest, and even then I only plan to serve for a year only as 2015 would be the year I'm likely focusing on my master's. I could handle the stress of ArbCom easily. I just hope someone would ask a question on this on my ArbCom question page as its the main concern everyone has. Thanks for the note. I'll certainly take it into consideration. For now, I would advise putting a comment on your candidacy talk page and inviting further questions. NW (Talk) 21:15, 15 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Clerks-l

[edit]

Perhaps you mean clerks-l instead of otrs-en-l? --Rschen7754 07:35, 20 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Both. Being an oversighter puts you on otrs-en-l. I'll add it to the list. NW (Talk) 07:38, 20 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Hmm, I didn't realize that. --Rschen7754 07:39, 20 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Accused of bias

[edit]

Supporting GorillaWarfare? It's clear that you warefares are conspiring together. If we elect another one of you, we'll surely be in a state of perpetual war! Heimstern Läufer (talk) 13:50, 20 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

This is, of course, not a new joke. The variation I've heard most often is that they should have a kid together, and that kid could edit as "NuclearGorilla". Sven Manguard Wha? 03:37, 21 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
And run in WP:ACE2032. --Rschen7754 05:03, 21 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Would "Our child is grounded" be a valid block rationale? Is it paid editing if you're editing while babysitting a Wikipedian's kid? Could ArbCom marry a couple? If so, would it be a motion or a full case? Sven Manguard Wha? 06:21, 21 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • correct predictions with 7 out of your 7 support bangvotes == agk, beeblebrox, floquenbeam, gorillawarfare, lfaraone, roger_davies, seraphimblade.
  • correct predictions with 7 out of your 7 opposed bangvotes == arthur_rubin, david_gerard, georgewilliamherbert, isarra, kraxler, kww, the_devil's_advocate.

Wow,  :-)   Thanks for improving wikipedia. 74.192.84.101 (talk) 02:50, 20 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

There's a huge difference between "predictions" and "recommendations". I wish people would stop treating ArbCom guides like a competitive sport. It would be healthier for the project if that happened.
