sayat nova

[edit]

It states in the Legacy section: The majority of his surviving ballads are in Azeri, as it was the lingua franca of the Caucasus at the time. Ninetoyadome (talk) 19:14, 1 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Shikhlinskaya

[edit]

Hey,

Nigar Shikhlinskaya was removed by an IP prior to your edits. Should we add her again at the cost of someone else? Just to have more women, etc. Bests - LouisAragon (talk) 21:09, 21 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

May be Ziba Ganiyeva. But her photo is in russian wikipedia [1].--Shahrux (talk) 21:32, 21 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, that would be a great alternative as well! Could you upload it, perhaps? If not, I can maybe ask someone else. Would you rather have Ganiyev or Shikhlinskaya, personally btw? Bests - LouisAragon (talk) 22:07, 21 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Unfortunately, I can't. But I think that Shikhlinskaya is more important figure. (see: Azerbaijani women)--Shahrux (talk) 05:35, 22 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I think Agalarov should be replaced with her. Though ofc the article (Agalarov) ain't finished yet by far, there were more male Azeris having a higher rank or with more notability than him, I believe. Or was there a special reason for adding him? :-) Bests - LouisAragon (talk) 23:37, 25 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I wanted to add military leader from Northern Azerbaijan. I chose this one because his photo is in quite good condition. One more thing. I will try to upload the photos of Azeris to english wikipedia. --Shahrux (talk) 16:30, 29 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Shahrux:, that would be great! :-) Could you also upload several pictures of Qajar princes/princesses born in Shusha/Baku etc? I saw that the Azeri Wiki has alot of them. Bests - LouisAragon (talk) 08:43, 8 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
 Done--Shahrux (talk) 17:02, 20 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
