Miniature GameWorks[edit]

Miniature GameWorks has been deleted because it was an article on a company, and did not assert the importance or significance of that company. WP:CORP explains the general criteria for notability. But also, I noted your comment: "I don't know if we have any newspaper articles or any other third party material that could be cited". If you would care to read WP:Verifiability, which is one of Wikipedias core policies, we should only be reporting information that has already been reported in third-party sources (although please note that was not the reason the article was deleted today.) Thanks, Marasmusine 09:11, 1 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I think you also wanted a comparison with another games company like Games Workshop. The lead text for that article points out: Games Workshop is one of the largest wargames companies in the world. The company is listed on the London Stock Exchange with the symbol GAW. That is an assertion of notability.

Drop me a note on my talk page if you would like any further information. Marasmusine 09:16, 1 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion requests[edit]

You've placed {{db-author}} on several pages, such as Clash of Arms, Wargames Foundry, and Stephen V. Cole. That criteria for speedy deletion, G7, should only be used when the original author wants his/her page removed, or the page has been blanked by the original author. Since you are not the original author of any of those pages, and they are not blank, I have removed the speedy deletion tags. Criteria for speedy deletion has more information on the criteria that can be used to tag a page for speedy deletion. Thank you. --Mysdaao talk 13:25, 3 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

User:Obewanz/Miniature GameWorks, a page which you created or substantially contributed to, has been nominated for deletion. Your opinions on the matter are welcome; you may participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/User:Obewanz/Miniature GameWorks and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of User:Obewanz/Miniature GameWorks during the discussion but should not remove the miscellany for deletion template from the top of the page; such a removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. Ravenswing 10:08, 3 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
