Hi Obiwan042, I am really pleased there are other editors interested in astronomy, but we are using sources more and more when adding content. When you make edits like this, it would be great if you could provide a new source as to where the new or updated information came from. Cheers, Casliber (talk · contribs) 11:54, 20 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Obiwan042. I noticed that you have continued to make changes to existing values on star articles without supplying a proper citation. If you have a proper source for your values, please supply them when you make the revisions. Otherwise they will be subject to reversion. For more information, see Wikipedia:Citing sources. Thank you.—RJH (talk) 16:24, 7 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits

[edit]

Please do not add or change content without citing verifiable and reliable sources. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you.

Please do not introduce incorrect information into articles, as you did to Mu Cephei. Your edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. If you believe the information you added was correct, please cite references or sources or discuss the changes on the article's talk page before making them again. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you.

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize pages by deliberately introducing incorrect information, as you did at Deneb, you may be blocked from editing.

The article HD 85828 has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails to meat WP:GNG or WP:NASTRO

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
