August 2021[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Mattplaysthedrums. I noticed that you recently removed content from Ivan Moody without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Mattplaysthedrums (talk) 23:26, 1 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Ivan Moody, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use your sandbox for that. "from the management" - pardon? Which management? This is a free community project. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 22:43, 2 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you remove or blank page content or templates from Wikipedia without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary, as you did at Ivan Moody. Galebazz (talk) 22:46, 2 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent editing history at Ivan Moody shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Managing a conflict of interest[edit]

Information icon Hello, OceanRockLegend. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Ivan Moody, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Since you seem to be claiming to be his management, or editing at their request. you are a WP:PAID editor. Meters (talk) 22:48, 2 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

You have broken WP:3RR. You are remoting sourced information. You have a conflict of interest. Stop doing this. This is not his article. It is Wikipedia's article about him. As his management you have no control over what the article content is. Please follow the conflict of interest rules and propose any changes you wish to see on the article's talk page. August 2021[edit]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 72 hours for edit warring. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  - TheresNoTime 😺 22:52, 2 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Your account has been blocked indefinitely for advertising or promotion and violating the Wikimedia Foundation's Terms of Use, as you did at Ivan Moody. This is because you have been making promotional edits to topics in which you have a financial stake, yet you have failed to adhere to the mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a form of conflict of interest (COI) editing which involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is strictly prohibited. Using this site for advertising or promotion is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia.

If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, please read our guide to appealing blocks to understand more about unblock requests, and then add the text {{unblock|reason=your reason here ~~~~}} at the end of your user talk page. For that request to be considered, you must:

  • Confirm that you have read and understand the Terms of Use and paid editing disclosure requirements.
  • State clearly how you are being compensated for your edits, and describe any affiliation or conflict of interest you might have with the subjects you have written about.
  • Describe how you intend to edit such topics in the future.

Incorrect information[edit]

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Doug_Weller Is falsifying information about being someones manager. this is false. Explaining the origin of the image and the assumptions made by Meters are false.

Accusing User:Doug Weller of "falsifying information" is not a good idea. The picture was being updated at the request of Moody's management. Hcm2021 stated that you are Moody's manger [1], and you stated The billboard article was also updated recently as per our request to use this more recent approved image. [2]. Just drop it. You are blocked, and I have no WP:AGF left in you.Meters (talk) 20:23, 23 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
