[edit]
Welcome to Wikipedia. Because we have a policy against usernames which give the impression that the account represents a group, organization or website, I have blocked this account; please take a moment to create a new account with a username that represents only yourself as an individual and which complies with our username policy or request a change of username. It also appears that your account is intended to be used for the purpose of telling the world about an organization, person or cause that you consider worthwhile. Unfortunately, many good causes are not sufficiently notable for their own Wikipedia article, and all users are discouraged from editing in any area where they have an inherent conflict of interest. You may wish to consider one of these alternative outlets.

If your username does not represent a group, organization or website, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page.

You may simply create a new account, but you may prefer to change your username to one that complies with our username policy, so that your past contributions are associated with your new username. If you would prefer to change your username, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page. Please note that you may only request a name that is not already in use, so please check here for a listing of already taken names. Thank you. Beeblebrox (talk) 03:35, 18 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Your reason here Oceanamatica is a non-profit organization. This page shares information about this non-profit, and after more edits, will share sited research to educate the public about the plastic pollution and it's affect on various species.

Decline reason:

Please review the username policy. Your username cannot be that of an organization, and must indicate you as an individual user. A name in the format of "YourName of Oceanamatica" would be acceptable(you don't have to use your real name). You will also need to review the conflict of interest policy and the paid editing policy. Also note that Wikipedia is an encyclopedia and not a forum for you to promote information about your cause or organization. You will need to use your own website or other appropriate forum to educate the public about your cause. To be unblocked, you will need to choose a new username as described in your block notice and indicate that you have read and understand the policies I mention here. As such, I am declining this request. 331dot (talk) 10:25, 19 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

A tag has been placed on your user page, User:Oceanamatica/sandbox/Oceanamatica, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be blatant advertising which only promotes or publicises a company, product, group or service. This is a violation of our policies regarding acceptable use of user pages — user pages are intended for active editors of Wikipedia to communicate with one another as part of the process of creating encyclopedic content, and should not be mistaken for free webhosting resources or advertising space. Please read the guidelines on spam, the guidelines on user pages, and, especially, our FAQ for Organizations.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. cinco de L3X1 ◊distænt write◊ 01:48, 26 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
