This is such an interesting topic! I hadn't heard of the Compton's Cafeteria riot until now, so thank you for highlighting this important piece of history. In looking at the original article, I agree with your analysis that some of the details of the event are missing, and it looks like you've found some sources that could help you add to those sections. I do want to caution you against leaning too heavily on one source or one author; it looks like "Screaming Queens" and Susan Stryker's book Transgender History (which seems to be an expansion of the "Transgender History" article you've cited here) are already cited several times in the current article. It can be difficult when there's one really strong source for a topic and it doesn't have much other coverage, but it's important to include perspectives from multiple authors or sources.
