Chinese astrology userboxes

Hi,

Per your request here, I just want to let you know that I've edited the 10 Chinese astrology userboxes in your userspace (see Category:Astrology Wikipedian userboxes) to remove Category:Wikipedians interested in Chinese astrology. Per Wikipedia:Userboxes, "userboxes should not automatically include categories by default", and my rationale for this specific case is that while every person has one or another astrology sign, this does not imply interest in the subject of astrology.

Self-educated userbox edited

I edited the image to make it conform with the normal 40x40px format. Kironide (talk) 02:03, 15 April 2008 (UTC)

And I reverted, as 45px is the more commonly found "standard". - jc37 04:38, 15 April 2008 (UTC)
I thought 50x50 was? Anyway my userboxes are less standardized and more done for aesthetic appeal (ie not futzing up the ID box's dimensions). Octane [improve me?] 15.04.08 0446 (UTC)

Regarding this edit, why? I thought "user" was the accepted norm? Also, please please please let me know about changes, because they easily get buried in my watchlist (as you can see from the very delayed response). Octane [improve me?] 15.04.08 0512 (UTC)

Yes, however the "philosophy" userboxes all use "editor", since they concern philosophies of editing. That said, use either one at your preference, obviously. - jc37 14:23, 15 April 2008 (UTC)
So I noticed at present from your userpage, but when did this whole policy get changed? And why? Octane [improve me?] 15.04.08 1710 (UTC)
No "policy", per se. As I said, feel free to do as you will with your own : ) - jc37 19:16, 15 April 2008 (UTC)
