California Highway Patrol[edit]

Recently, ‎you changed "Captain" to "Captain | Head of a division within the department" on the California Highway Patrol page. I am curious as to your source for this change. Almost every Division I am aware of within the CHP is headed by a Chief or higher. Area offices are usually headed up by a Captain. Some are commanded by Lieutenant. Area offices are not called Divisions. I was a CHP officer for 20 years, and spent many years working at one of the seven Division Headquarters. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Philkon (talkcontribs) 18:02, 10 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Notice[edit]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits to California Highway Patrol, it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. - wolf 05:57, 17 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
