Death Note (film)

[edit]

You tagged Death Note (film) to be split into multiple articles. Can you give some indication at Talk:Death Note (film) about how you want this done? I cannot see any need for a split. Cheers. -- Alan Liefting (talk) - 23:45, 23 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Evangelion

[edit]

I linked WP:FUTFILMS in my edit summary. This "movie" is not happening and shouldn't have an article. Alientraveller (talk) 07:30, 24 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Asuka

[edit]

I commend your rewriting and severely reducing the content of this article, it's needed someone to do it for a long time. However, I suspect it will be reverted by people who believe wikipedia is the place for excessive detail and fanboyism. Hopefully I'm proved wrong! Are you planning to continue this? The entire article needs a rewrite and proper referencing, and I have little faith in other people doing this (I personally am too busy, and others have shown their complete lack of understanding what was wrong with the article despite the tags) 23:33, 18 April 2009 (UTC)

Apologies for reverting your Kubrick Edits

[edit]

Dear Ode2Joy, I apologize for reverting your copious Kubrick Edits, but there were at least three obvious problems. One is your version attributes the plot of "Killer's Kiss" to "Fear and Desire". That error was not present in the prior version of the article. Two: the correct usage is "1960s" not "1960's". Three: Generally pictures require some kind of caption. I didn't understand why you removed a few of these in toto. Other edits were pretty good, but I was being a bit lazy.
I can kinda/sorta see the basis for removing some material and stuff that seems a bit extraneous, such as the way "The Killing" influenced and foreshadowed Tarantino's style , but the material at the very start about Kubrick's notable style "scrupulous care with which he chose his subjects, his slow method of working" certainly belonged there, and I do not understand at all why that was deleted.--WickerGuy (talk) 16:55, 18 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited List of Fillmore! episodes, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Grand theft auto (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

I am alright with how you had the voice directors done in Marvel Anime, but we originally had the cast listed to list the voice actors involved in the show even though some of the roles are incomplete since G4 had done a commercial during the credits which even left the information at Internet Movie Database and Anime News Network incomplete as well. I don't mind that you list the Executive Producers of the projects in your next edit. Are you suggesting that you would like to sort the principal cast from the additional voices on the tables that you have established? Outside of that, I am hearing that Marvel Anime: Iron Man - Rise of the Technovore is coming out tomorrow. Rtkat3 (talk) 7:19, April 15 2013 (UTC)

Still active on Evangelion 3.0 article?

[edit]

If you're still active on Eva 3.0: You can (not) redo, I need some help from you. The plot section is bloating because of an anonymous user. I've reverted his edits twice already, along with informing him of the word count limit, but he doesn't listen. This guy is showing signs of edit warring by always reverting my edits back, and I don't want to start an edit war. Now the article is full of fancruft and terms only Eva fans would understand, plus speculation besides. Can you help me convince this guy and undo the bloat? I know no one there, and it seems that you are the most active contributor. I would appreciate some help here. Greatly. Thank you. Anthonydraco (talk) 21:23, 20 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for coming. I notice that even though you filled the missing logical gaps. However, as you already know, some info not absolutely vital to understanding the plot needs to go, so I might need to cut down some. Some words flow better, but in places, we can still convey the same message with less words to conform with the limit. I do not have time to continue the work tonight, but the part that most certainly have to go is here: "EVA pilots like them do not grow older due to the curse of the EVA." I've already explained this to the IP anon, but I would like to point this out to you again. "The curse of the EVA" explains nothing here, and it has to go. It's just a mysterious term that offers no concrete information. And it's already implied at the beginning of that sentence that because they're EVA pilots, they don't grow older. It's very obvious EVAs are the cause.
I will also need to get rid of parenthetic clauses and break open the parentheses to create open-line prose. The parenthetic clauses read out of place in your additions, and it kinda read as if we don't care to integrate the information into the prose outside. I'm going to fix that, but I'm informing you first. Anthonydraco (talk) 16:48, 21 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Ode2joy, I'm confused about your edit [1] to Be Cool, Scooby-Doo!. I watched the episode last night, so I know it aired yesterday. What do you mean by "updating the air date?" Thanks! Katniss 14:42, 11 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Pajama Sam

[edit]

Why were my lists for the Pajama Sam characters deleted?! I wanted to put them down to give people info about the characters. While I'm still working on Pajama Sam 4, I find almost everything except the main characters list was deleted! Who did that and why did they do it? My information was accurate. I cited sources to prove it was. Now, all that work I did to improve the "Pajama Sam" page has been for nothing! 2603:6010:8B45:FA00:79AA:2B3:E1CC:5209 (talk) 17:36, 2 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
