Your question[edit]

The first thing you do is learn the difference between a content dispute and vandalism. If you disagree on the content of an article, that is one thing. Labeling it as vandalism is wrong, and is counterproductive. Trust me, I spend a lot of time on real vandalism; this isn't it. He hasn't replaced the content of the article with obscenities, or blanked large sections. He's made edits you don't like. At this point, it seems a number of people on that article are in violation of the Three-revert rule. If you change something, someone changes it back, and you go through the cycle more than three times, it's time to stop. Your next step is to report the issue at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/3RR and ask for a neutral administrator to look at the issue. Fan-1967 19:12, 11 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

August 2008[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to Gary Valenciano, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. bluemask (talk) 08:50, 22 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Stand (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure). We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Stand (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure). Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:13, 19 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Image without license[edit]

Unspecified source/license for File:Cloverleaf facade.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Cloverleaf facade.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time after the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|CC-by-sa-3.0|GFDL}} (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. RonBot (talk) 18:09, 7 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Not spam[edit]

Sorry for reverting your edit; I realize now your additions are not obviously spam. They could be, but it's not as clear as I thought.

One of the reasons your edits look a lot like spam is the repeated links to not exactly high quality independent sources, like the company bemac-philippines.com. Your English grammar is almost incomprehensible, which is another typical characteristic of spammers. This edit was reverted by Jim1138 for similar reasons as mine. You should probably expect to see more edits of this kind reverted by other editors. I'd suggest instead of adding to the article, add a suggestion to the article's talk page so that other editors can see it and discuss it with you. You'll probably make more progress that way than by adding content only to see someone else remove it. --Dennis Bratland (talk) 20:34, 17 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Please find another source for e-trike distribution in Manila. http://www.bemac-philippines.com/ looks a lot like spam to me. That page also doesn't support sales in Manila. I removed the last half of the sentence. The link is Bajaj Auto. Bajaj is a wp:disambiguation page.
Please see wp:BRD regarding how to handle disputes. Please follow it. Thank you Jim1138 (talk) 20:48, 17 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for October 18[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Cosplay Mania, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Zwei (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

File permission problem with File:Cloverleaf facade.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Cloverleaf facade.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F11 of the criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. October 2018[edit]

Information icon Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to China National Heavy Duty Truck Group. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. Matthew_hk tc 20:25, 23 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Please read this notification carefully, it contains important information about an administrative situation on Wikipedia. It does not imply any misconduct regarding your own contributions to date.

A community decision has authorised the use of general sanctions for pages related to the blockchain and cryptocurrencies. The details of these sanctions are described here. All pages that are broadly related to these topics are subject to a one revert per twenty-four hours restriction, as described here.

General sanctions is a system of conduct regulation designed to minimise disruption in controversial topic areas. This means uninvolved administrators can impose sanctions for edits relating to these topics that do not adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, our standards of behaviour, or relevant policies. Administrators may impose sanctions such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks. An editor can only be sanctioned after he or she has been made aware that general sanctions are in effect. This notification is meant to inform you that sanctions are authorised in these topic areas, which you have been editing. It is only effective if it is logged here. Before continuing to edit pages in these topic areas, please familiarise yourself with the general sanctions system. Don't hesitate to contact me or another editor if you have any questions.
So what part of the new cite links are cryptoblog related? That secondary revert reeks of paranoia and powertripping in wikipedia again. Oherman (talk) 16:48, 12 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
