Information icon Hello, I'm Yamaguchi先生. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Vasile Lupu without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; I have restored the removed content. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. If removing content for a valid reason, please make use of the edit summary field to state the rationale for removal. Yamaguchi先生 (talk) 21:25, 25 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

All sources say he was Albanian and Moldovan. There is no need to have a long paragraph when sources agree about his origin.Olmcx (talk) 16:55, 26 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

They do not, as seen by the neutral revision. I am very confused on why he had a Greek identity, if he indeed was of Albanian origin?--Zoupan 20:29, 27 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I don't know where you read he had a Greek identity. If you want to make him a Greek, it's another problem. As seen by neutral revision there are millions of sources which say he was an Albanian by origin. He had an Moldovan identity because he was the ruler of Moldavia.Olmcx (talk) 20:38, 27 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Please, bring your suggestions and claims to the article's Talk page prior to changing the article itself. Thank.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Olmcx (talkcontribs)

No, identity, not ethnic descent. See the article talk page.--Zoupan 21:15, 27 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Your changes to Vasile Lupu

[edit]

@Olmcx: This is a conversation you began in my Talk page. You were trying to respond to my reverts and explain your edits. The reasons I reverted your changes were simple. As I explained here in your Talk page, you should discuss the issue with other editors, with those sharing your interest in the article/subject, before making any significant unsourced change. I looked through English and Spanish sources and found little about Lupu's origins. In cases like this one, the best course of action is to always explain the reasons for your edits and produce as many sources for your claims. Credibility is key. And always consider other editors who are invested on this project too. Hope this helps. Historiador (talk) 18:06, 28 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
