August 2012[edit]

Hello, I'm Bidgee. I noticed that you made an edit to a biography of a living person, Eamon Sullivan, but that you didn’t support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. Wikipedia has a strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks, Bidgee (talk) 07:41, 5 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add unreferenced or poorly referenced information, especially if controversial, to articles or any other page on Wikipedia about living persons, as you did to Eamon Sullivan. Thank you. Bidgee (talk) 07:53, 5 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding unreferenced or poorly referenced biographical content, especially if controversial, to articles or any other Wikipedia page, as you did at Eamon Sullivan. Content of this nature could be regarded as defamatory and is in violation of Wikipedia policy. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Bidgee (talk) 07:55, 5 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This is your last warning. The next time you violate Wikipedia's biographies of living persons policy by inserting unsourced or poorly sourced defamatory or otherwise controversial content into an article or any other Wikipedia page, as you did at Eamon Sullivan, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Bidgee (talk) 08:06, 5 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You are suspected of sockpuppetry, which means that someone suspects you of using multiple Wikipedia accounts for prohibited purposes. Please make yourself familiar with the notes for the suspect, then respond to the evidence at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Olympicswimmers101. Thank you. Bidgee (talk) 10:20, 6 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Block notice[edit]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 48 hours for sock puppetry per evidence presented at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Olympicswimmers101. Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but using them for illegitimate reasons is not. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.
