Mercer County, NJ map on Commons

Hello, noticed you don't visit commons much anymore so figured I might get your attention faster by commenting here... could you update the Mercer County, NJ map? https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Location_map_of_Mercer_County,_New_Jersey.svg Princeton Borough and Princeton Township were merged into a single municipality 2 years ago. Thank you! Famartin (talk) 13:33, 4 February 2015 (UTC)

Certainly. It may take me a bit, as I am in the midst of some work on the server that runs my map scripts, but I will get to it. Omnedon (talk) 13:45, 4 February 2015 (UTC)

Username

*sigh* Haven't read those books in decades, and your username still makes me nervous... --SarekOfVulcan (talk) 15:37, 19 February 2015 (UTC)

Gates of hell, Sarek -- gates of hell. Omnedon (talk) 15:54, 19 February 2015 (UTC)
Done. I'll wrap him up and take him with me. --SarekOfVulcan (talk) 16:27, 19 February 2015 (UTC)

Precious again

Indiana maps
Thank you for quality articles such as Jefferson Davis and Warren County, Indiana, for the gnomish work of adding infoboxes to places in Indiana and Illinois, supply images, creating locator maps, and keeping information up to date, for drawing information from old atlases: "scan quadrants of the atlas' large pages and then stitch them together to form single complete images", - you are an awesome Wikipedian!

RfC: Religion in infoboxes of nations

There is an RfC that you may be interested in at Template talk:Infobox country#RfC: Religion in infoboxes of nations. Please join us and help us to determine consensus on this issue. --Guy Macon (talk) 14:18, 17 June 2015 (UTC)

I am not placing anyone under attack

I have requested and advised and been rebuffed. Now, because I have a concern about competence, I have raised the matter in the correct place and have notified the editor that I have done so. Those of us who choose to review take the task very seriously. I am responding to you here because I see no further point in replying to you there. Fiddle Faddle 22:30, 18 July 2015 (UTC)

I take Wikipedia very seriously. I also take this sort of disguised attack very seriously. There has been no need for you to pursue this so aggressively and with such insult to a good editor. Omnedon (talk) 22:33, 18 July 2015 (UTC)

A barnstar for you!

The Minor barnstar
Thanks for updating the census data (I saw it on some of my Indiana articles I watchlisted today). It's much appreciated! Missvain (talk) 04:30, 26 July 2015 (UTC)

State Line City

If you'd hold up for a little bit, you'd see SporkBot coming around and fixing the citations before long. Kindly hesitate before accusing me of mangling things. You may also wish to explain why discussions on this subject at Wikipedia talk:2010 US Census were wrong: there was consensus to retain 2000, because retaining the various figures allows us to see changes in age groups, income levels, race percentages, etc. Please explain in detail why State Line City is different and why it should be exempt from what we do nationwide. Nyttend (talk) 18:06, 4 August 2015 (UTC)

"We" don't do it nationwide. Some article have both; some do not. And if you would not introduce the same error twice in a row, that would be helpful. Omnedon (talk) 18:07, 4 August 2015 (UTC)

Illinois towns

Hi I created Lawler if you get a chance maybe you could look at it thanks and merry xmas happy holidays. --DonLandry2 (talk) 02:01, 26 December 2015 (UTC)

I don't see Lawler, Illinois, on the map. Do you have any information about it? The article needs to cite sources. Omnedon (talk) 02:05, 26 December 2015 (UTC)
Bing maps shows it. --DonLandry2 (talk) 02:06, 26 December 2015 (UTC)
Thank you. --DonLandry2 (talk) 02:21, 26 December 2015 (UTC)
Are you familiar with the process of expanding an article and providing references? Omnedon (talk) 02:21, 26 December 2015 (UTC)
No --DonLandry2 (talk) 02:24, 26 December 2015 (UTC)
Do you have any interest in it? I see you just recently started editing here. Do you plan to continue? Omnedon (talk) 02:26, 26 December 2015 (UTC)
I like editing --DonLandry2 (talk) 02:27, 26 December 2015 (UTC)
Well, the first point I would suggest you focus on is that when you create articles in Wikipedia, some sources to verify the information are required. Articles that have no sources are likely to be tagged for deletion unless someone comes along and adds sources. Omnedon (talk) 02:41, 26 December 2015 (UTC)

Updated Census Info

Why not parse or hide old census info while updating? It is great to have two data-periods to compare and see trends. But, most readers are probably just looking for a current snapshot and don't need old data. Maybe reduce the 2010 census info with a hide/show function.
