An Important Notice

I'll cut right to the chase: my grandfather was admitted to the hospital ICU recently. He's been in a battle with lung cancer for about 8 months now and doctors don't think he's going to live much longer. Therefore, I am on an indefinite wikibreak, as I feel most of my time now should be spent at the hospital to make my grandfather's final days as comfortable as possible. I may eventually return but I'm not sure when this will be. I do have a few requests:
1. The only thing on my user page and my talk page should be this notice. Anything else is vandalism and I ask that it be reverted.
2. Please do not leave any messages on my talk page, as I will not receive them.
3. If you need to get in touch with me, I've set up an e-mail address specifically for the purpose of receiving and sending e-mails from fellow Wikipedians. The e-mail address is ontheothersidewikipedia@gmail.com (this is not my primary e-mail so I won't be checking it everyday. Please allow a week or so for a response).
I thank you all for your understanding and I give everyone my best wishes.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
