You don't happen to have a link to a news article about these kidnappings do you, so we can expand the current status of the robbery? Thanks!--Fxer 02:01, 15 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Image copyright problem with Image:SaoPedroeSaoPaulo1.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:SaoPedroeSaoPaulo1.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Your recent edits[edit]

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot 19:43, 11 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

STS changes[edit]

Can you please state the sources for your changes to the infoboxes of those STS missions ? It's always better if we can properly reference those statistics --TheDJ (talkcontribs) 15:31, 25 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Would you please read my question? SOURCES SOURCES SOURCES SOURCES !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! --TheDJ (talkcontribs) 17:21, 25 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I should apologise for my somewhat snappy remark the other day, It was a rough day:( . But please in the future, can you discuss such large changes to so many articles with some fellow editors ??? --TheDJ (talkcontribs) 11:45, 26 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hubble constant[edit]

With this edit you changed the value for this constant reported in the Wilkinson Microwave Anisotropy Probe article. Although you did not cite a reference I have applied WP:AGF and left the change in place, pending discussion. Can either value (old or new) be supported by a reliable source? March 2008[edit]

Hello. Please don't forget to provide an edit summary, which wasn't included with your recent edit to Age of the universe. Thank you. E_dog95' Hi ' 18:48, 16 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. Please don't forget to provide an edit summary, which wasn't included with your recent edit to Automated Transfer Vehicle. Thank you. A situation has arisen. You recently made a new article with content from Automated Transfer Vehicle. A newer editor has reverted your edit because you didn't leave an edit summary. It looked like an accident; it can even look like vandalism.

Wikipedia is the largest collaborative project of its kind. We need to communicate with each other to make this work. Please use the edit summary. E_dog95' Hi ' 08:03, 24 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry I mistakenly reverted your ATV edit the other day. I thought maybe it was an accidental deletion. Best, Wwheaton (talk) 03:34, 25 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

ISS cost[edit]

Hi, i reverted this change that you made. The reason is that you changed a value that (although outdated), was at least referenced, with a value that does not have a references, and worse does not match the references that is in place. This is something that you should not do in Wikipedia. Either update the value AND the references for the value, or leave the old value but add "as estimated in 2005" or something like that. If you need helping with integrating the references, I'm able to assist you with that. --TheDJ (talkcontribs) 11:44, 27 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

ESA images[edit]

Hello. I've been working on the evolutions part of the Automated Transfer Vehicle article and have found a few very good 3D renderings on the ESA website. I have one problem though. I don't know how to upload them under ESA's image policy. I can't find it in the 'upload file' form. I see you've done it before, so if you could help me out I'd be grateful.U5K0 (talk) 20:37, 31 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (Image:ATV large.jpg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:ATV large.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:27, 21 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Replaceable fair use Image:Atv reentry.jpg[edit]

Replaceable fair use
Replaceable fair use

Thanks for uploading Image:Atv reentry.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the media description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per our non-free content policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. --TheDJ (talkcontribs) 13:51, 21 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

ISS FAC4.[edit]

Hello there! As an editor who has posted a comment in one of the recent Peer Reviews, GANs or FACs of International Space Station, or who has contributed to the article recently, I was wondering if you wouldn't mind commenting in the current Featured Article Candidacy with any suggestions you have for article improvements (and being bold and making those changes), whether or not you feel any issues you have previously raised have been dealt with, and, ultimately, if you believe the article meets the Featured Article guidelines. This is the fourth FAC for this article, and it'd be great to have it pass. Many thanks in advance, Colds7ream (talk) 16:46, 7 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Replaceable fair use File:Columbus Illustration.gif[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Columbus Illustration.gif. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the file description page and add the text {{di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}} below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing <your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
  2. On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 20:13, 31 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
