OK, I see. Well, I've got Material Scientist's attention now, so either he'll do a range block or else he'll semi-protect the page for awhile (which I've already requested). Just a question, since you are an anti-vandalism vet. User:MediaMGMT highjacked this article. After the original was restored, he keeps removing the AfD tag from the article he wrote. I raise the level of warning every time it is me who catches him, but several times someone else catches him and usually doesn't warn. You gave him a level 1 warning for a CSD rather than a level 3 for AfD. Was that intentional? --Muhandes (talk) 05:50, 21 July 2010 (UTC)
- I used Huggle's notification function to give him friendly advice on not removing CSD templates. It is not part of any warning level, and I guess I didn't check that it is an AfD, completely different from CSD. In that case, you should have just taken my mistake in good faith and just remove the notice and put an appropriate edit summary addressing my mistake. Still, apologies for my mistake. - I did take it in good faith, I promise you. Apologies for not doing what you suggested. If it wasn't clear from me asking, all this procedure is new to me, and I was asking what the proper thing to do is, as I was not sure removing someone else's note is appropriate.
