Contested deletion
[edit]This article should not be speedy deleted as being recently created, having no relevant page history and duplicating an existing English Wikipedia topic, because the Transformers (comics) page that has been suggested as making this page redundant seems to cover the American and European Transformers comics, not anything from Japan. --OptimusMagnus (talk) 17:38, 10 January 2016 (UTC)
- OptimusMagnus, I've moved this to your userspace so you can work on the article. Offhand what you'll need to do here is list the manga or similar media (online only manga, for example) that was released in Japan through notable publishers. There are a lot of fan works over there, so unless the artist is notable enough for an article, it likely doesn't merit mention on Wikipedia. Ideally this would be a lengthy list of works, meaning that it'd be long enough that someone couldn't just argue that it should be merged into the comics page. Now as far as what it can't contain, it shouldn't have original research, so you need to rewrite the lead sentence since it does come across as a little OR. I'll rephrase it and show an alternate example. When you've finished all of this, feel free to move it back into the mainspace. Offhand it's likely that there are enough manga publications out there to merit a list page similar to the one for the comics. I'd be more shocked if there wasn't enough out there. I figure that moving it to your userspace should give you enough time to do all of the necessary work. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 10:54, 11 January 2016 (UTC)
