Potential article subject

Hi Oronsay, I've come across this amazing Australian botanist that is definitely notable. I'm improving her Wikidata item and will add her to Bionomia etc but thought I'd put her on your radar in case you or someone else in the Australian editing community wanted to write an article on her. Gillian Perry. Ambrosia10 (talk) 22:11, 5 February 2024 (UTC)

She certainly looks worth writing about. Am busy today but will try to get to her in the next day or two. I've added precise lifespan to Wikidata from her Australian National Herbarium entry, which I've also added to Wikidata. Oronsay (talk) 22:20, 5 February 2024 (UTC)

updated WIR template

Thanks for your help, but we've got bots that can do stuff like this! — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 23:04, 11 February 2024 (UTC)

I know, @MSGJ, but with two bots changing talk pages my Watchlist was driving me crazy, and making it almost impossible to see any changes that I might wish to review. I'll probably stop now.
When I and others create new WIR event pages, do we need to replace our previously used WIR- with WikiProject Women in Red| where it appears in the side menu? --Oronsay (talk) 23:09, 11 February 2024 (UTC)
Yes, either that or WIR| will work. What side menu do you mean? Sorry about the watchlist. You know you can hide bot edits, right? — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 23:11, 11 February 2024 (UTC)
Silly me! No I didn't. Off to do so right now. Thank you. Oronsay (talk) 23:22, 11 February 2024 (UTC)
Under the heading "Add to article talk pages". That's easy if WIR| is OK. Similarly, under the heading "Event templates". --Oronsay (talk) 23:13, 11 February 2024 (UTC)
I've just worked it out! [1] - correct? — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 08:50, 12 February 2024 (UTC)
