A tag has been placed on Tony Jackson (Australian Life-coach) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Iunaw 17:17, 18 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

As reviewing administrator, I think the article has some hope, so I changed it to a PROD: proposed deletion. But you need to show that he is notable--based on 3rd party independent reliable published sources, print or online (but not blogs or press releases), any language. I'd advise you to add this very quickly, before it gets deletedDGG (talk) 15:41, 19 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Leon ousby

[edit]

I the author of this article have decide to withdraw Orson20 (talk) 15:44, 29 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No {{hangon}} needed

[edit]

Don't use the {{hangon}} tag on AfD nominated articles. It's unnecessary - the article won't be deleted until the AfD closes, even if the consensus is to delete (which it may not be). Delicious carbuncle (talk) 15:02, 22 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:Hamlet at the Grand.JPG. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. J Milburn (talk) 11:36, 4 June 2008 (UTC) sorry I missed the the tag.. I have added the tag to the image.Orson20 (talk) 13:07, 4 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

You seem to be using your user page as storage for a deleted article. Since you have another copy of the article in your userspace, you should probably delete the one on your user page (see WP:USER). Thanks. Delicious carbuncle (talk) 13:31, 25 June 2008 (UTC)Cheers.. Orson20 (talk) 13:45, 25 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add lyrics to articles, as you did to the article Together in Electric Dreams, as this is a copyright violation, and goes against Wikipedia's non-free content policy and general content policy. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously, and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. andi064 T . C 17:56, 24 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Is London in Australia?

[edit]

You state here that you "reside in Australia", but you state here that you "live in London". Given the, um, odd goings on with the Leon Ousby article, I thought I'd ask you to clarify. Where do you live? Delicious carbuncle (talk) 16:06, 11 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know is it?

[edit]

I Orson Griffiths reside in Australia but work in both the US and England. Leon Ousby lives and works in both London and NY, but at present I believe he is in Sydney rehearsing a play. Hope this trivia covers your concerns about where London is. London is situated towards the bottom part of southern England. London is also the capital of the british isles and in 2012 will be hosting the world games. The great fire of London destroyed most of the south bank but thankfully because of the fire that started in a bakery in pudding lane it killed off the black death. Hope this gives you clarity. No odd going on's with the Leon Ousby article.. I just think he is a tremendous stage Actor and have had the pleasure of seeing him perform in London and NY. I don't know what all the fuss is about. 92.40.126.215 (talk) 18:48, 13 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, that clears up any doubts I might have had about you being a troll. Delicious carbuncle (talk) 19:52, 13 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
