Not moved

May I asked why you marked Talk:Güveç (cooking) as Not moved? Nobody opposed the move (and indeed, nobody could, as there are no grounds on which to oppose). It was an as undisputed move as they come.--Orwellianist (talk) 14:59, 31 October 2015 (UTC)

Still, I gave the evidence in case an outsider or administrator would like to see it; take a look at https://www.google.com/#q=güveç&tbm=bks and see that almost every single one of the 3.320 results refer to the meaning in this article. You can use any other search engine or any other research method as well. I will, if you don't correct the outcome yourself. Do you have any reason not to? That the page should be moved seems straightforward to me, given Wikipedia policy, discussion and sources. Europe 10,000 Challenge invite

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Europe/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like Germany, Italy, the Benelux countries, Iberian Peninsula, Romania, Slovenia etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. If you would like to see masses of articles being improved for Europe and your specialist country like Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon, sign up today and once the challenge starts a contest can be organized. Osmanlı Bayrağı

Selamlar, (Aynı metini commons'taki sayfanızda da yazdım ama burayı daha sıklıkla kullanıyor olabileceğinizi düşünerek buraya da kopyalıyorum.)

Osmanlı Bayrağı maddesinde birkaç ay önce yaptığınız değişikliği ve (edit savaşı denemeyecek kadar küçük olsa da) birkaç kez versiyonlar arası git-gel yapıldığını far ettim. Eski bayrağın orijinal yükleyicisi olarak sizin versiyonunuzun özellikle geç Osmanlı dönemi bayraklarını daha iyi yansıttığını düşünüyorum. Benim 2007'de bir tasarım öğrencisi iken yarım saat içinde yaptığım bu bayraklar tuhaf bir biçimde benimsendi ve sanki gerçekten Osmanlı'nın resmi bayrağıymış gibi kabul gördü. Bunu sizin versiyonunuzu revert edenlerin itirazlarında da görmek mümkün. Halbuki bildiğiniz gibi standart bir Osmanlı bayrağı yok ve 1844'deki Tanzimat reformlarından beri çeşitli kalınlıkta ve biçimlerde ay ve yıldızların kullanıldığı bayraklar görmek mümkün.

Dediğim gibi sizin versiyonunuzun daha isabetli olduğunu düşündüğüm için size destek çıkmak istiyorum. Ayrıca sizin versiyonunuzun benim ilk yaptığım (ve DsMurat'ın rengini değiştirdiği) versiyondan epey farklı olduğunu düşünüyorum. O yüzden üreten kısmında sizin mahlasınızın yer alması gerektiğini düşünüyorum.

Birazdan bu bahsettiğim değişiklikleri yapacak ve talk sayfasında sizin bayrağınıza destek çıkacağım. Orijinal bayrağın yükleyicisi olduğumu belirtirsem potansiyel bir edit savaşı riskini önleriz diye tahmin ediyorum.

Uzun vadede ise şöyle bir önerim var; Seattle'da yaşıyorum ve University of Washington'daki Selim Sırrı Kuru Hoca ile bağlantım var. Kendisinin uzmanlıklarından biri Osmanlı bayrakları diye biliyorum. Onun tavsiyeleri ışığında (gerekirse) sizin versiyonunuz üzerinde ufak tefek değişiklikler yapmaya açık olur musunuz?
