Editing

[edit]

Alientraveller is very good at what he does. Take a look at his user page -- he is responsible for the quality of the first list of articles, so do not believe that his contributions are without merit. Looking at the edit, it appears that your edit was uncited and possibly inaccurate. There do not seem to be any attributable sources to support your information. If the film is based on The Secret of Monkey Island, I would suggest finding a reliable citation and placing it in Production instead. —Erik (talkcontrib) - 06:43, 15 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Also, when you leave a comment on another editor's talk page, please place it at the bottom instead of the top. I've moved your comment to the bottom for you. —Erik (talkcontrib) - 06:45, 15 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Then ask him to fill out appropriate edit summaries. I would not call it reckless, but perhaps an act of brevity. He knows what he's doing, but you do not need to practice such an abrasive tone with him if you are concerned about his reversions. By the way, it's "Who watches the watchmen?" :) —Erik (talkcontrib) - 06:51, 15 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not include information without a citation. Unless Elliott and Rossio say they were inspired by whatever, and as I've researched it, the film is inspired by a ride and an attempt to make a fantasy swashbuckler, then don't. Alientraveller 10:33, 15 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Whatever you contribute, make sure you attribute it. Alientraveller 07:12, 16 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Re: your recent blanking and edit summary on this article, the redirect is appropriate until an article is created with sufficient details. If you also believe the book The Borgia Bride is not notable per the criteria at WP:BK, then feel free to submit it for AFD. Just taking a quick glance at the article and not knowing anything about it, I'd say there isn't any references that assert notability (i.e. reviews on reliable sources). → AA (talk)08:39, 31 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Another editor has added the "{{prod}}" template to the article Herlihy Boy, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached.
