Possible conflict of interest[edit]

If you are the same as the Otto ter Haar shown as having an involvement with The Greens (Netherlands) on the page The Greens (Netherlands), should you not declare a conflict of interest WP:COI before editing the page?SovalValtos (talk) 19:10, 1 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I have just added such a statement at the talk-page. Otto (talk) 16:15, 2 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I think that you should have it on your User page as well.SovalValtos (talk) 15:37, 5 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I have added information on my involvement with the subject om my user page. Otto (talk) 17:25, 5 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for that. Excuse my impertinence. I am quite a new user and certainly know less of policy and guidance than I might. Better safe than sorry though! SovalValtos (talk) 17:36, 5 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Moved Thalys report[edit]

Otto, there is already a section on the Thalys investigation which is where I moved your text. The section you have put it is in 'criticism of the train crew'. IF any information in the report comments on that 'criticisms', that would of course go where you have put the report. If you were reacting to my 'edit reason', I apologise, we have had quite a few linguists contribute on this article, I was genuinely asking if any of them could read it to get the main points. Pincrete (talk) 22:14, 18 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you, I misunderstood. Otto (talk) 22:15, 18 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
No problem, insensitive phrasing on my part. I see you have added the French, many thanks. Pincrete (talk) 22:37, 18 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
