Can you help?

Hi, I saw some of your comments at Tony Hawk's discussion page and I'd like to know if you could join us in a new discussion as a neutral party (Tony Hawk's discussion page). Another user is erasing my reviews, but he doesn't seem to bring reliable information and he also avoids discussion. Since I'm not used to that kind of situation and I want to avoid "edit war", I'm looking for the opinion of another user who seems more experienced. You "warned" me that I vandalized Mydriasis. Please know what you are talking about before warning me. The eye drop used to dilate eyes at the ophthalmologist is tropicamide, which is an anticholinergic drug, blocking parasympathetic stimulation to the eye. While the doctor may put anesthetic into an eye at an eye doctor appointment, that is so he can measure intraocular pressure; it has nothing to do with dilation of the pupil. The caption is just plain wrong. It is not a muscle-relaxant. When a a pupil dilates, muscles are in fact constricting (the radial iris muscles), not relaxing, under an increase in net sypathetic stimulation. How on earth could you call that "vandalism?" Wouldn't "vandalism" constitute maliciously changing an entry, possibly insulting someone? Even if I put incorrect information by mistake, how would that be "vandalism?" The caption of the picture, as well as the description when you click on the picture, is clearly that of the patient who does not understand the physiologic and pharmacological mechanisms of mydriasis. Please revert the page to my edit. 69.127.56.49 (talk) 00:05, 10 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
