iS THERE ANY EASY WAY TO CREATE ARCHIVE IN TALK PAGE[edit]

Hi sir, Noticed in your talk page you create archives very professionally, is there any easy way to create archives like this or by normal edit process you are doing it. Rahul SomanDiscussions - contribs 23:35, 19 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

    Enough citations on '68 (film)?[edit]

Hi! I found '68 (film) in the LGBT articles for improvement. I added some reviews from the 1980s. Does that seem like enough to remove the "more citations" template? Thanks! KarenJoyce (talk) 19:28, 28 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

    ArbCom 2021 Elections voter message[edit]

Please don't delete, but give a hint to improve[edit]

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:J._Paul_Morrison is the man behind a very important thing in IT: FBP. I've tried to get both his page and his wikidata Q-thing good enough, but wikipedia's datamodel and social rules are really foreign to me. In september I see my colleague again who has loads of experience on many wikimedia projects. Steltenpower (talk) 22:10, 14 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Steltenpower: I am sorry, but I think this particular article deserves deletion because it does not meet Wikipedia’s General notability guideline, which requires an article to have multiple secondary references that provide significant coverage on the subject. P,TO 19104 (talk) (contribs) 10:51, 15 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I have a link to an obituary, I have a link to the book (editions) he wrote (of which I read one), I know he exists (I met him and spoke on the subject), there's a Google Group on FBP of which some members met him too and where his widow is reachable under his old address.
And with some time and proper device/connection access, which I'll have in September I'm sure I'll dig up more. My librarian friend/colleague who knows how to work Wikipedia properly returns from vacation the same month.
I'm sure WP's guidelines on content are great, I wouldn't want a lousy article on this computer science giant, but a bit more patience would be nice.
[I will not start a new article when I don't have an experienced editor right next to me, it's complicated] Steltenpower (talk) 14:46, 15 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Steltenpower: I recommend you seek help from your friend on this matter, and before creating other articles. Regarding obituaries, they typically do not qualify as reliable sources (though there are exceptions if they are in mainstream newspapers). I'll check back in on the article in September. Good luck!
