Martin Rowson image

[edit]

Just to let you know that I've tagged Image:Bell512.jpg as having a disputed fair use - the "comic panel or cover" template you used is inappropriate. Also, it's not enough to have permission from Martin Rowson to reuse his work; he must have agreed for it to be redistributed under the GNU public licence, and it's not clear that he's done this. You might want to take a look at Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. Thanks. McGeddon 09:39, 3 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You asked for it!

[edit]

I'd probably render "you asked for it" as talem meruisti - literally "you have earned such a thing". I remember a passage in Ovid where he uses mereo to describe the punishments handed out by the Furies. Hope this helps. - Smerdis of Tlön (talk) 17:07, 4 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
