Disambiguation link notification for June 19

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Gun.Smoke, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Yashichi (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 11:07, 19 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I know the bot won't read this, but thanks for reminding me. Maybe I'll put this on some project talk page, too... Yashichi is actually what got me started on DPL. The disambiguation page had more info than anywhere else I could find, but it didn't seem right after I linked to it, so I researched, and tried fixing some others to practice. It was fun, and apparently so distracting that, somehow, I forgot to go back and finish the first one. :S I hope that doesn't give me an unfair point on that list or something... It's ok to clear my score, if you want. I didn't do it for points, anyway. It's actually fun to just fix them, regardless. :) -PC-XT+ 03:03, 20 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Signature DYK

Hi PC-XT. I noticed you're signature includes tt tages. Did you know those are obsolete in HTML5? I personally don't care much about it, but for neatness sake you could change them. Quoting W3C: "Where the tt element would have been used for marking up keyboard input, consider the kbd element; for variables, consider the var element; for computer code, consider the code element; and for computer output, consider the samp element." Martijn Hoekstra (talk) 12:31, 21 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the notice. I used to use that tag a lot, and I keep forgetting it was deprecated and is now obsolete. I updated my signature because I don't like the idea of spreading obsolete tags around the encyclopedia, even if it is only on talk pages. I expect obsolete tags will only be ignored, so it's probably not worth going back and editing any old signatures. —PC-XT+ 03:14, 22 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Yikes, I thought I had fixed the first one, thanks for catching it. I don't know why my browser keeps cutting off the protocol when I copy urls, but I'll have to be more careful about that. This time, it was me. Haha, thanks, again! —PC-XT+ 06:05, 24 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
