Welcome
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Take a look at the welcome page. To stay in Wikipedia, an article has to be about something notable, that is, of general interest. Click on Notability for an explanation of what that means. Also, it must give independently verifiable sources. Articles that don't meet these requirements are likely to be deleted. Follow the links below to learn more:
- To find out more about creating articles, read the Introduction and the Guide to creating your first article.
- You should not write articles about yourself, your band, or your best friend - that's a conflict of interest.
- Wikipedia is not an advertising service. Before writing about your own business, read Business' FAQ.
- For experiments, please use the sandbox.

Copyright problems
[edit]Hello. Concerning your contribution, IsisSwissKnife, please note that Wikipedia cannot accept copyrighted text or images obtained from other web sites or printed material, without the permission of the author(s). - If you have permission from the author, leave a message explaining the details at Talk:IsisSwissKnife and send an email with the message to "permissions-en (at) wikimedia (dot) org". See Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for instructions.
- If a note on the original website states that re-use is permitted under the GFDL or released into the public domain leave a note at Talk:IsisSwissKnife with a link to where we can find that note.
- If you own the copyright to the material: send an e-mail from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en(at)wikimedia(dot)org or a postal message to the Wikimedia Foundation permitting re-use under the GFDL, and note that you have done so on Talk:IsisSwissKnife.
However, for textual content, you may simply consider rewriting the content in your own words. Thank you. JohnCD (talk) 13:48, 28 August 2008 (UTC)
I'm afraid there is a copyright problem - the UNESCO web-site's home page says © UNESCO 1995-2008. The notice above tells you what the requirements are before Wikipedia can publish something taken from another web-site. JohnCD (talk) 13:48, 28 August 2008 (UTC)
