usage of templates[edit]

Is there a reason you tag every article you create with {{update}} and {{incomplete}}? If not, I would like to ask you to stop that. |FDMS 21:04, 1 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. I'd like to second FDMS4's request. You added these exact tags to OneDrive article without adding associate elucidating material.
And by the way, normal reverting is not a sign of hostility in Wikipedia, so if I or someone else reverted your edit and you don't agree, please don't be shy and drop us a line or two and tell us your concern. We can always work out a solution. (Psst! Try it once and you will be surprised as to how fast and friendly things are!)

Did you forget to finish this page? Please fix the issues tagged. Bearian (talk) 17:11, 22 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

hi no I just copied it from lovefilm page and change some bits. I copied it from that page because it was compatible with the same dvice and supported the same devices. 86.135.252.13 (talk) 23:49, 22 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Stub sorting[edit]

Hello Paladox. Thank you for tagging an article as a stub. I noticed that you used the {{stub}} template. In the future, it would be greatly appreciated if you could sort the article to a subcategory by using one of these templates instead. For example, you can use {{US-novelist-1960s-stub}} for an American novelist born in the 1960s. Of course, if you can't find a proper category, you can always use the {{stub}} tag and someone else will sort it for you, or you can propose a new stub template or category here. Thanks!

--I dream of horses If you reply here, please leave me a {{Talkback}} message on my talk page. @ 20:58, 23 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Changes to templates reverted[edit]

Hello, Paladox2017

I'd like to inform you that your changes to {{Infobox OS version}}, {{Infobox OS}} and Template:Infobox OS/doc are reverted because they were careless. Extremely careless. I do not know why you added |once_supported= and |frequently_updated=, while they are not even in the template source code; but I don't care either. Although I appreciate any editor's willingness to improve Wikipedia, I will not hesitate to revert or block changes to templates, especially those that impact many articles. Neither I nor my colleagues play WP:BRD in these cases.

Best regards,
Codename Lisa (talk) 00:14, 12 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

hi sorry I added frequently updated to infobox os version because some have there in the template LSR and LPR and would not cause problems because I kept the original codes and I just put It on top and for once supported sorry I added that I doint know why I added that. Paladox2017 (talk) 18:37, 12 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Hi again. It's okay; no harm is done. Just do us a favor and have your changes sandboxed and vetted before committing them.
LSR and LPR don't need |frequently updated=. This parameter was abused a lot, so we remove it.
Best regards,

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Norton Security requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Norton Security. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Norton Internet Security. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Norton Internet Security – you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.

If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Dusti*Let's talk!* 18:35, 11 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
