You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Pall Snaedal Andrason requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Dengero (talk) 13:58, 13 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I have replied to your "Contested Deletion" note at Talk:Pall Snaedal Andrason, but I will reiterate here so that you have the information even if the article is deleted. You wrote:
This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because... (your reason here) --Palliandra (talk) 13:59, 13 February 2013 (UTC) This is the best chess player in iceland under 18 years old.[reply]
I replied:
You'll need a citation to prove that. Unreferenced biographies of living persons are subject to deletion, whether the article asserts notability for the subject or not. Even if you can verify the "best player under 18 in Iceland", this may not be sufficiently notable. Generally, athletes are considered notable if they have achieved results at the professional level, or have achieved significant results at the amateur level. Based on the articles at WP:WikiProject Chess, chess players appear to be inherently notable if they have achieved the rank of Grandmaster (which Andrason has not, according to Feb 2013 FIDE records). However, if you can provide evidence of significant coverage of the subject in independent sources, you'll have a better chance.
I should also not that it is considered a very bad idea to write your own autobiography at Wikipedia. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 14:34, 13 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
