Image copyright problem with Image:Megan Mullally.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Megan Mullally.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by STBotI. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 16:12, 7 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Celtic Woman images[edit]

Greetings Palmie, thank you for uploading the Celtic Woman images. However, we need some additional data for them, else they will be deleted. First, where were each of the images obtained? You said some of them were self-made...is this correct? Did you actually take those photographs yourself? If so, you need to identify when and where they were taken. Second, we cannot use any fair-use images of living persons, such as Image:Chloe.jpg, because it is reasonably possible for a free image to be obtained. Additionally, a license must be declared for each image you upload...I see some images are missing them entirely and some may be inappropriate. If they are your images, you can license them as GFDL, under a Creative Commons license, or you can declare them public domain and release all rights to them whatsoever. The last is preferable, but the others are okay as well.

I'll help you work out the details and get the formatting correct, but do please respond here or on my talk page with the information above for each of the five images. Like I said if the info isn't provided, the images will have to be removed. Thanks, and I look forward to hearing from you. Huntster (t@c) 04:25, 13 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Replaceable fair use Image:Chloe.jpg[edit]

Replaceable fair use
Replaceable fair use

Thanks for uploading Image:Chloe.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the media description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per our non-free content policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Melesse (talk) 03:16, 15 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading Image:Mairead.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 18:31, 15 April 2008 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Genisock2 (talk) 18:31, 15 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Chloe.jpg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Chloe.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. NotifyBot (talk) 15:20, 17 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Unknown source of Image:Meav 2.jpg[edit]

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Image:Meav 2.jpg, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Image:Meav 2.jpg is an image with unknown source or unknown copyright status which has been tagged as unknown for more than 7 days (CSD I4).

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Image:Meav 2.jpg, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself.
