Hi there

Assyrian Homeland[edit]

The map is dubious because it's implying that the Assyrian homeland has changed and completely excludes Assur, Erbil, Kirkuk, Hakkari and Urmia which are all considered the Assyrian homeland. Nemroyo (talk) 00:04, 28 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The map DOES includes northern fringes of Syria and southern fringes of Turkey as well. Also it reflects the current concentration of Assyrians, where Assyrians seek authonomy today (North of Iraq). Thus, it is useful for our readers. There is no need to delete it. Please stop removing the map or I will have to report you. Panspermia. (talk) 00:09, 28 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
It is CLAIMING that it represents the MODERN Assyrian homeland and EXCLUDES many areas considered to be fundamentally the Assyrian homeland, such as the ones I listed above. The map does not label itself to represent population distribution, so that is unnecessary to this conversation and your reasoning is therefore invalid. I have not removed it, but I will be getting someone else involved given the flagrant inaccuracy of it unless you fix it yourself. Nemroyo (talk) 00:18, 28 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I have changed the map to better reflect the current situation, since some of the points by you seem valid. But if you engage in edit-war and disruptive/combative edits again, I will report you. Panspermia. (talk) 00:43, 28 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
