Barack Obama 2009 presidential inauguration[edit]

The proper way to WP:CITE a fact that is familiar to some is not to remove the {{fact}} tag. You should add a full citation when you see such a tag. Also, although Obama is trying to downplay the use of his middle name, it is a story of encyclopedic merit and worth.--TonyTheTiger (t/c/bio/WP:CHICAGO/WP:LOTM) 20:34, 23 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The fact tag should remain in place until someone is able to add a proper citation. Please do not delete content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Barack Obama 2009 presidential inauguration, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you. Stop being a Dick and assume good faith. Every single inauguration has followed that format. To request a source is simply unnecessary. See WP:CK. Parler Vous (edits) 06:26, 27 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
A look, someone else agrees with me Why don't you go bug the hell out of them? Parler Vous (edits) 06:35, 27 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

December 2008[edit]

How was my message vandalism? Please inform me. -- Roms85 06:22, 30 December 2008 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Roms85 (talkcontribs)

You deleted my talk page comment, then accused me of vandalism for reverting that edit. Parler Vous (edits) 06:23, 30 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I have a feeling it was by accident, but you also deleted part of my talk page comment after I had changed it to make it seem less like I was trying to be a sneaky bastard, as you seemed to be accusing me of. Please tell me if I got the wrong impression. And also, how does that make my comment on your user talk page vandalism? Roms85 (talk) 06:27, 30 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I didn't see that I got rid of that stuff, but now I do. Sorry about that. Parler Vous (edits) 06:29, 30 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
No problem. But I would appreciate it if you would get rid of those comments that point out my IP address, as my amended comment eliminates the need for it and it is kind of private. Thanks.--Roms85 (talk) 06:30, 30 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Done. But I suggest you try not to edit while logged out if you want privacy. Parler Vous (edits) 06:49, 30 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you. Will definitely remember to stay logged in.--Roms85 (talk) 06:52, 30 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'll leave the hidden comment on the 2012 election for now, but if she gets deleted again like last time I'm going to put the selfref back. She should be there until the RfC is resolved so people will make a comment on the RfC; unfortunately it seems like many people don't pay attention to the hidden comments and just delete her without even looking at the RfC. O&O Software GmbH[edit]

Hello Parler Vous,

you had put my article "O&O Software" in the category "blatant advertising". Why does my article have no relevance for the wiki even though articles (i.e.Diskeeper Corporation or Acronis Inc.) about other companys, producing similar software, are coming across the wiki?

IMO you should delete this articles, too!

Please let me know, how I can understand your proceeding in rating articles.

best wishes, Festplatten Guru (talk) 09:02, 19 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I can't view the page since its been deleted, but if I marked it as blatant advertising, it more than likely read like an ad. I was not the one who deleted the page, so I'm not alone in thinking it was advertising. If you wish to re-create the page, go ahead. Just make sure that you find sources to prove notability. Last, I proposed that Acronis Inc. be deleted (lack of sources, not blatant advertising), but the other page looks fine. Parler Vous (edits) 04:24, 20 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
